Please see our guidance below for Appointments during COVID-19.

Newbury Vet Clinic is dedicated to keeping everyone safe. We ask that you wear a mask when you come to appointments. Our staff will be wearing masks. We are disinfecting surfaces and using strict cleaning guidelines at the clinic to prevent the spreading of COVID-19.

New At NVC:  We feel a great responsibility to keep our community safe especially in light of new data that reveals the Corona-virus can stay in the air longer then we thought, our small exam rooms, and the up coming flu season.  That being said, at NVC we feel that good communication is the key to good medical care and we do not want to sacrifice any level of care during this pandemic.

To that end, we have purchased high quality monitors to use for winter time exams.  Our procedure will be: 1) A technician comes to the car and collects your furry family member.  We ask that you please wear a mask for the hand off. 2)You will then be handed an audio/video monitor so that you can hear and see every step of the process.  3) We will take your pet inside and weigh him/her then give them a moment to acclimate while the technician asks you a few questions.  4) Then the doctor will come in and you can see and speak with the doctor during the entire exam.

We have perfected positive reinforcement and fear free techniques at NVC and have found that we can get your pets through this brief separation with very little stress.  Thank you for working with us to keep our community safe!
