Counterfeit Veterinary Products Alert Recently, we've seen increase in the number of fake veterinary products available for sale in Vermont and New Hampshire. Many scams have specifically targeted a popular flea & tick product - Seresto collars. Seresto collars are only available for purchase from your vet or authorized online company like Chewy.com or 1-800-PetMeds - your veterinarian cannot guarantee the efficacy or authenticity of collars sold at other retailers (Walmart, Petco, Tractor Supply). Buying them off internet advertisements or private sellers also puts you at risk for purchasing a counterfeit collar: these collars are made to look very similar to the official collars but do not necessarily work as well and can cause some nasty side effects (burns, hair loss, illness). Change to Clinic Hours Please note that Newbury Vet Clinic will be closed from 12:30pm-1:00pm for staff meetings every Friday. If you need to get a hold of us, you are welcome to leave a message or call back after 1pm.
